Flower of Life and Egg of Life in Hampshire, U. K. Crop Formations

 Popham, Hampshire, England, is 34 miles east of the ancient Stonehenge circle of large sarsen pillars. Crop formations have appeared every year since 1990 in the Wiltshire County region from Swindon to Cherhill, Avebury, Marlborough, Basingstoke. Further south in the county of Hampshire (below), crop formation history goes back further to the 1970s in Winchester and Chilcomb region.
July 6, 2016 Popham and Chilcomb Down, Hampshire County, England - Popham is a hamlet and civil parish south of Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. The area's history goes back to pre-historic times and was established as a permanent town during the Roman occupation of Britain. The manor of Popham was established by the monastery of Winchester as an outlying agricultural grain station.
For more than two decades, there have been a variety of crop formation patterns in this Hampshire region, including the latest Flower of Life pattern inside a diamond-shaped configuration reported in wheat on June 28, 2016, in the Blackwood Forest region between Popham and the Popham Airfield. Only one week before, the Egg of Life pattern was reported on the Summer Solstice of June 21, 2016, at Chilcomb Down.

Seed of Life to Flower of Life to Egg of Life
Seed of Life
The “Seed of Life” is a symbol depicting six days of creation before the seventh day of rest. It is formed from seven circles being placed with sixfold symmetry, forming a pattern of overlapping circles, which is the basic component of the more evolved and complicated Flower of Life design.

The Seed of Life's 1st day is believed to be the creation of the Vesica Piscis. The 2nd day is the creation of the Tripod of Life. The 3rd day one sphere is added that becomes the center around which the 4th, 5th and 6th spheres form, ending with seven overlapping spheres on the seventh day of rest that some call the Sabbath or Shabbat or Sunday.
Flower of Life
From the Seed of Life comes the Flower of Life that for centuries has been described as the sacred underlying pattern of how the universe has been constructed and evolves. So, mathematically, this pattern that grows from the Seed of Life is the source of all that exists from a microbe to a human to galaxies.
A symbol of sacred geometry, the Flower of Life contains the mathematical progression that for centuries has been described as the symbolic description of the fundamental forms of space and time.

Egg of Life
One week before the Popham, Hampshire, wheat formation, a related pattern emerged in barley on the Summer Solstice of June 21, 2016 — an intricate “Egg of Life” in Chilcomb Down near Winchester, Hampshire. The evolution from seed to flower to egg of life also has a mathematical relationship to music, as the distances between the spheres are the same as the distances between the tones and the half tones in music. It is also the same mathematical progression in the growth of embryos. The first cell divides into two cells, then to four cells, then eight and so on. More and more spheres grow in the evolving pattern from seed to flower to egg of life.
This "Egg of Life" barley pattern was reported on the Summer Solstice, June 21, 2016, in
Chilcomb Down near Winchester, Hampshire. The thin outer ring is a few inches wide
and surrounds the inner pattern of circles that do not overlap. This crop formation

New Geometry in Chilcomb “Egg of Life”

A new kind of “sacred geometry” was drawn in crops at Chilcomb Down near the Winchester Science Centre on the Summer Solstice of June 21, 2016. This pattern, with its thin lines a few inches wide, seems to provide a general-purpose template, by which to construct all of these fundamental shapes.

To be precise, this pattern shows a slightly-expanded “Egg of Life,” not seen previously to my knowledge in studies of sacred geometry on Earth. The central circle for an “Egg of Life” has been drawn about 1.5 times larger than two rings of six circles which surround it.
This crop picture is a very useful “template” for creating new forms of “sacred geometry”! For example, we can easily draw an expanded “Flower of Life” by adding six more “purple” circles, to the two rings of “blue” or “red” circles already present in an expanded “Egg of Life” — as drawn in crops on June 21.
By adding successive rings of six circles, we can change from a “Seed of Life” to an “Egg of Life” to a “Flower of Life.” Likewise by increasing the size of the central circle, in any of these shapes, from the same diameter as surrounding circles to about 1.5 times larger, we can change from a “normal” to an “expanded” form of sacred geometry.
This "Egg of Life" pattern on June 21, 2016, was created along a double set of tractor tramlines, which point toward the Winchester Science Centre nearby, as noted by white dashed lines. What a clever metaphor for scientific enlightenment!
The three most fundamental shapes of “sacred geometry” are a “Seed of Life” with 6 + 1 = 7 circles,
an “Egg of Life” with 12 + 1 = 13 circles, and a “Flower of Life” with 18 + 1 = 19 circles. The “Seed
of Life” may show a “hexagon” at its centre, owing to underlying six-fold symmetry.
The Chilcomb Down barley pattern on June 21, 2016, seems to present us with two overlapping meanings. First it provides a useful “template” by which young children from a nearby Science Centre can draw “sacred geometry” on paper. Secondly it suggests that the process of teaching science to young children is a highly beneficial activity, which may be compared with an expanding or growing “Egg of Life.”
