Puzzling Case of Mothership Glass and U. K.'s Ansty Wheat Formation

“Mothership Glass does have some specific and special technology
in their functional glass art and when people ask, 'How do you do this?' —
a lot of times their answer is, 'It's the work of aliens.' Or, 'It's lasers that
can do this type of work.' That's what they've said in the past and now
this crop circle formation shows up with such mystery behind it.”

August 17, 2016 Dayton, Ohio - The original logo of three laurel leaves doubled to a 6-fold flower geometry surrounded by stylized letters first emerged in 2012, when glass artists Scott Deppe and Jake Colito formed Mothership Glass, “a functional glass art company,” at a secret studio location in Bellingham, Washington.

Beginning in 2012, this is the graphic logo based on sacred
geometry used by Mothership Glass in Bellingham,Washington,
that is very similar to the Ansty, England, wheat pattern reported
on August 12, 2016, below. But the glasswork logo has different, straight
line perimeter letters, “MOTHERSHIP MOTHERSHIP,” compared to the 20
intricate symbols in the large wheat crop formation below

Friday, August 12, 2016. Ansty has Bronze Age grave barrows, one as old
as 7 A.D. Aerial © 2016 by Cropcircleconnector.

Ansty is 19 miles southwest of Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England, in a region between
Warminster, Andover and Salisbury that had mysterious crop formations also in the 1970s to 1980s.

20-symbol perimeter on 350-foot-diameter wheat pattern first reported August 12, 2016, in U. K.
village of Ansty. Residents reported to U. K. crop formation investigator Gary King
that no equipment or people were seen in the wheat field before its discovery. But since
it closely matches the logo of Mothership Glass in Bellingham, Washington, the question is:
Was this a commercial publicity stunt? If not, who or what made it and why?

What Are Outer Ring 20 Symbols?

The 20-symbol perimeter on 350-foot-diameter wheat pattern first reported August 12, 2016, in the U. K. village of Ansty. Residents reported to U. K. crop formation investigator Gary King that no equipment or people were seen in the wheat field before its discovery. But since it closely matches the logo of Mothership Glass in Bellingham, Washington, the question is: Was this a Mothership commercial publicity stunt? Or if not, who or what made it and why?
Earthfiles this week received conflicting information that a crop artist in England had made it by himself, but the Cropcircleconnector.com office called to say that individual denied having anything to do with the Antsy pattern. I have tried to reach the Mothership Glass owners to learn straightforwardly if they paid one or more cropcircle makers money to make the Ansty pattern of August 12, 2016. But to date, there has been no comment from Mothership owners Scott Deppe and Jake Colito. But on their Facebook page is an excerpt from Cropcircleconnector.com about the wheat pattern outer perimeter symbols translating to MOTHERSHIP MOTHERSHIP. Why the men call their company Mothership Glass, they say, is related to their using “extraterrestrial technology.”

Retired geneticist and crop pattern analyst Horace Drew, Ph.D., aka "Red Collie"
from Sydney, Austrlia, prepared this graphic to show logical translation of the symbol perimeter in the Ansty wheat pattern to alphabet letters "MOTHERSHIP." According to AllGlass digital marketer, "AtariVideo" in interview below, the symbols did not appear on Mothership glassware until July 2016.
A glass industry representative confirms that Scott Deppe and Jake Colito have kept their general communications with the world confined to their Mothership Glass facebook page since starting their company in 2012. It is logical that they have wanted to keep their glassmaking techniques and clients secret because the main functional use for their percolation waterpipes is marijuana smoking. In 2012, that was not legal medically or otherwise in Colorado state law or federal law. Their unique selling program described below also added to the mystery of who the two men are and how they have developed the reputation in only four years as the “best percolation” glass creators today.
The glass artists themselves have said the key to their glassworks' exquisite, limited edition glass waterpipes for both marijuana use and as rare collector's art — some “Elite” pieces selling for $50,000 and up — is an alien extraterrestrial technology based on sacred geometry.

Mothership Glass was founded by Scott Deppe and Jake Colito in 2012 in a secret Bellingham, Washington, studio. This facebook page has been there only public interface to date. The upper left
logo with the three laurel leaves overlaid in a pattern of a 6-fold geometry links to the two men's
emphasis on sacred geometry as the root of their glasswork perfection and design. The straightline
symbols at the perimeter of their logo repeat their name, "MOTHERSHIP MOTHERSHIP," for
a total of 20 letters, similar to the 20 symbols in the perimeter of the Antsy, U. K., wheat formation.
[ Editor's Note: Wikipedia - Sacred geometry ascribes symbolic and sacred meanings to certain geometric shapes and certain geometric proportions. It is associated with the belief that God is the geometer of the world. The geometry used in the design and construction of religious structures such as churches, temples, mosques, religious monuments, altars, and tabernacles has sometimes been considered sacred. The concept applies also to sacred spaces such as temenoi, sacred groves, village greens and holy wells, and the creation of religious art.]
A young 28-year-old digital marketer at AllGlass in Dayton, Ohio, known publicly as "AtariVideo," explained to me how Scott Deppe and Jake Colito conduct their periodic and very private sales. He also says neither he nor anyone he knows in the glass art industry had seen the strange symbols that formed the 20 characters in the perimeter of the Antsy crop formation pattern until July 2016. That's when the Mothership Glass facebook site posted four photographs on their facebook page showing new glassworks etched by the same strange symbols first seen in aerial photographs of the Antsy wheat field. In the upper left corner of the Mothership Glass facebook's new artwork photos were a vertical column of 10 symbols that match the symbols in the Antsy crop formation.
Adding to the mystery are local residents who told U. K. crop formation investigator Gary King that the wheat field was empty of people or equipment right up to the August 12th discovery of the 350-foot-diameter wheat pattern.
AtariVideo prepared this slide to show that one of the Antsy, England, wheat pattern symbols
is a match to one of the July 2016 symbols that Mothership Glass placed over
the surfaces of four new glass pieces shown here. Image by AllGlass.

shadow below it. In the upper left are the same 10 symbols that equate to the word MOTHERSHIP
and show they are doubled to 20 symbol letters in the Antsy wheat formation as "MOTHERSHIP MOTHERSHIP." Image © Mothership Glass, Bellingham, Washington.

Previously in January 2016 at the American Glass Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, AtariVideo met and talked with Scott Deppe and Jake Colito, who attended. I talked with AtariVideo today and asked him how many of the limited edition glassworks did Deppe and Colito make in July specifically surfaced by the strange symbols that make up the outer ring of 20 symbols in the Antsy, England, wheat formation first reported on August 12, 2016, but likely there on Saturday, August 6, according to a note tacked up in the Ansty PYO & Farm Shop without further explanation.
Interview:
AllGlass Representative “AtariVideo,” 28, Dayton, Ohio: “That is currently unknown. There has not been any official release of the pieces themselves. A lot of times when Mothership Glass is posting pictures of certain types of pieces they are doing, they will do runs of several pieces that have the similar etchings or design in it. They call that sandblasting and the process of that is masking certain areas of the piece and then taking a low-pressure sandblaster and the sand granules will give that frosting effect to the glass. They only released two pictures (at their FB) and then a collector released a third picture only this July, so there have been only those three glass pieces known so far with the symbols on them.
With Mothership Glass as secret as they are, they don't have many visitors at all and visitors are not allowed to take pictures of their production facility. When Mothership Glass produces pieces for sale, they could have been produced months ago or only in July when the pictures were put on their facebook page. It's very hard to tell because of the secrecy with which Mothership Glass engages with the public.
BUT YOU, AS A DIGITAL MARKETER FOR MOTHERSHIP GLASS, HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE SYMBOLS ETCHED ON THE SURFACES OF PREVIOUS GLASSWORKS FROM THEM?
That's correct.
HAVE YOU ASKED SCOTT DEPPE AND JAKE COLITO WHY THEY CALL THEIR COMPANY MOTHERSHIP GLASS?
That's a good question. But knowing the glass community and what I've heard about Mothership Glass, they use the name Mothership because it has an association with extraterrestrials and the technology that is used in the creation of the functional glass art. Knowledgeable insiders claim this has to be the design (inspired) by aliens and the use of lasers for glass to be able to function as well and look this beautiful.
DO SCOTT DEPPE AND JAKE COLITO SAY THEY ARE USING SOME KIND OF E. T. TECHNOLOGY THEY HAVE RECEIVED SOME HOW?
Mothership Glass does have some very specific and special technology in their functional glass art and when people ask, 'How do you do this?' — a lot of times their answer is, 'It's the work of aliens.' Or, 'It's lasers that can do this type of work.' That's what they've said in the past and now this crop circle formation shows up with such mystery behind it.”
Secret Bidding Sales for “Elite
Mothership Glass Pieces”
There are two categories of glassworks produced by Mothership Glass, both in limited numbers. First are clear glass pieces distributed to a small number of specific glass galleries in the United States, Canada and Japan in price ranges around $5,000 to $7,000 each.
The second category is so limited in number and distribution that it is called “Elite Mothership Glass Pieces.” The most simple design of these start in the $15,000 range. But the average cost of the more complex elite pieces is $50,000 plus. This has grown over the past few years as they have become so sought after.
The way Mothership Glass releases these Elite pieces adds to the mystery of the company. There is only a small, tight circle of collectors that are invited to these special, secret shows that are either held at a glass gallery or in Bellingham, Washington, where Mothership Glass is located. Each of the collectors are sent a special invite by mail that surprises them a week before the show event. These invites act as a ticket to get in. The number of invites sent equals the total number of special Elite Mothership pieces to be sold — usually not more than eight. The invite that gives the minimum amount of money that needs to be brought to be able to purchase one of the Elite Mothership pieces.
Buyers come from all over the country and typically fly in to attend the Mothership sale in the middle of the night like 1 AM or 2 AM through the night. Once each invitee arrives, they put their invitation into a drawing for the order in which the invited collectors get to purchase the pieces. Once their names are drawn, usually the most expensive piece does go first. Then they usually just go down the line of the drawing order as each Elite piece is paid for. In the most recent sales, the majority have sold for at least $50,000 each and some pieces have sold for more than $100,000.

Mothership Charity Work
In Bellingham, they have run charity auctions before where they will auction off some of their highly sought after art pieces and have a specific charity they will donate to. Last Christmas 2015, they teamed up with a small charity that helps donate toys to kids in need around the holiday time. Mothership auctioned off some glass to donate money to that foundation.
