Updated Part 1: Viewer Comments About Aerial Flames and “Symbols” Over Dublin and Stephenville, Texas

February 20, 2008  Albuquerque, New Mexico - The following are some of the Earthfiles viewer comments I have received about the Stephenville and Dublin, Texas, unusual aerial phenomena photographed, videotaped and described by eyewitnesses there since early January 2008. In addition to the large rectangular "frames of white fire" described by pilot and businessman Steve Allen (See 020508Earthfiles), perhaps the most extraordinary aerial event was videotaped on January 19, 2008, between 10:10 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. CST by David Caron near the Stephenville municipal airport. The 12-minute videotape shows a pale-colored, disc-shaped aerial object that suddenly seems to transform into “symbols” that pulse every 15 frames of the videotape, or one every half-second. At Earthfiles, I have shared a clip of the videotape and still frames of the symbols (See 021408 Earthfiles).

Mysterious Multi-Colored Light Patterns in Sky Over Reno, Nevada

“I finally photographed the mysterious light with my digital camera and was surprised to see colored light patterns similar to the ones that were taken in Stephenville, Texas, during the mass sighting events in January 2008.”

– Reno, Nevada, Resident

December 19, 2008  Reno, Nevada -  The morning after my December 17, 2008, three hour news broadcast on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, I received the following email from a Reno, Nevada, resident along with several photographs she had taken on December 10, 2008, after 9 PM Pacific over the Washoe Valley south of Reno. Her photographs are very similar to the videotape by David Caron near the Stephenville, Texas, Airport on January 19, 2008. See hot links to other Earthfiles reports in More Information.

Erath County, Texas, Policeman Saw 600-Foot-Diameter Aerial Craft Over Courthouse in Stephenville

“I’m looking directly at this craft and it starts pivoting upward at a 35 to 40 degree angle off the left ‘wingtip.’ It rises there for about three seconds and then it goes completely 90 degrees and starts moving away from me, all without sound!”

- “Greg,” Erath County Police Officer

December 17, 2008  Stephenville, Texas  -  Almost one year ago, at the end of January 2008, I flew to Texas to talk with eyewitnesses and see videotapes, photos and sketches of the many unidentified aerial craft sightings reported that month over Stephenville, Dublin, Selden, Glen Rose and surrounding region. That group of rural towns is southwest of Dallas/Fort Worth. One eyewitness in January was Lee Roy Gaitan, Erath County Constable for Precinct 2, officed in Dublin, a town of about 4,000 people only eight miles southwest of Stephenville. Stephenville is the larger Erath County seat with about 15,000 residents.

Updated – Part 1:  CIA, UFOs and Hollywood

“If  NASA took the time to write me a 20-page letter, then I knew there must be something happening. When they read the [Close Encounters] script, they got very angry and felt that it was a film that would be dangerous.”

– Steven Spielberg, Director, Close Encounters of the Third Kind

December 17, 2008  Stafford, Staffordshire, England -  The Day the Earth Stood Still re-make with Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connolly has been released this December 2008 to enthusiastic crowds. Fifty-seven years ago on September 28, 1951, the original movie was first released in black-and-white starring Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal. The story is about a humanoid alien visitor named Klaatu who comes to Earth in a silver disc with his robot, Gort, to issue humankind a warning. The original screenwriter, Edmund H. North, based the script on a short story by Harry Bates entitled “Farewell to the Master,” published in the October 1940 issue of Astounding Science-Fiction.

More Ohio Eyewitnesses See Glowing “Pod” Rise Up to Triangle

“The closer the glowing pod got (to the triangle craft), you could see there was a bottom surface between the three bright circular lights - a dark, charcoal grey or black - that had a rough texture like burnt aluminum foil all crumpled up and you straighten it out.”

- Sarah, Security Guard, Empire and Stratton, Ohio

December 12, 2008  Empire and Midvale, Ohio  -  During my late night October 23 to 24, 2008, news updates for Coast to Coast AM radio, in the last half-hour of live calls, a trucker named Tim Comstock phoned in. He was excited to tell us what he had seen at 3:45 AM on October 23, in Empire, Ohio -  a triangular craft with glowing lights at the three corners above a glowing object that was rising up to the craft’s dark, crystalline surface. Tim took three photos of the objects on his cell phone, which I reported in an October 31, 2008, Earthfiles report. See: 103108 Earthfiles.

Update:  Compare to East Rutherford, New Jersey, aerial object videotaped on August 28, 2008. Some people say both East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Irving, Texas, are blimps. However, the Dallas Cowboys versus Seattle Seahawks Thanksgiving 2008 game began at 3:15 PM Central and was over by 7 PM Central. The Irving, Texas, images below in this Earthfiles report were taken a few minutes after 8 PM Central. Here is August 28, 2008, New Jersey video link:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIywF8VX_zo

December 2, 2008  Irving, Texas -  On December 1, 2008, I received an email from a Texas resident who encountered and photographed a highly strange aerial object while driving with his wife to visit friends in Irving, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth, on Thanksgiving night, November 27, 2008, around 8 PM Central. The location was the intersection of West Irving Boulevard and West Pioneer Drive in Irving.

Colorado State Patrol Officer Encountered UFO and “Human” Stranger

“ My gut feeling says I spent twenty minutes talking to somebody who was not from this world.”

- Jon M. Spaulding, Retired Police Detective

November 21, 2008  Albuquerque, New Mexico - As a professional journalist, I know that the men and women who work in police departments and sheriff’s offices are often exposed to many high strangeness events that are never reported to the public. I know firsthand from those in law enforcement who told me they had come to the conclusion in the 1970s that the perpetrators of worldwide animal mutilations are “creatures from outer space,” but most of them would not speak on the record in front of a TV camera.

Part 4: Morphing UFO Over Levittown, PA – Scientific Research

“This seems to be physical evidence of very thin energy beams only 1/10th of a millimeter wide, probably of a microwave nature, that caused these straight line lesions in the leaves. ... I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

- Biophysicist W. C. Levengood

Part 3: Morphing UFO Over Levittown, PA – Scientific Research

After exposure to the aerial object's glittering light energy, there were “respiration-related increases in the internal energy of the privet leaves 17 times normal and 15 times normal in the silver maple leaves.”

Part 2: Morphing UFO Over Levittown, PA – Scientific Research

“The red-brown color observed and photographed in the Levittown leaves implies that the June and July leaves, filled with green chlorophyll, were subjected to external radiation - presumably the beamed energy from the aerial craft - that provoked leaf production of the red, protective pigment anthocyanin usually associated with fall leaves, not summer growth.”

- Biophysicist W. C. Levengood

Hypothesis is that unusual external energies associated with the Levittown aerial phenomenon provoked premature anthocyanin production. Image © 2008 by W. C. Levengood, Pinelandia Biophysical Lab.

November 14, 2008  Grass Lake, Michigan - W. C. Levengood, a biophysicist who worked on his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, has received several patents concerning seed development. His research work about evidence of spinning plasma vortices containing microwave and other energies affecting plants and grasses in the global crop circle phenomenon has been published in the prominent journal, Physiologia Plantarum: An International Journal for Plant Biology.
