Part 2: Silicas – and Hot Springs? – Could Mean Ancient Life On Mars

February 27, 2009  Houston, Texas - Other scientists studying a completely different part of Mars in Arabia Terra have also discovered features they think are the residue of hot springs, largely based on the tell-tale oval rings that closely resemble hot springs in Yellowstone National Park and Dalhousie, Australia. In a recent issue of Astrobiology, NASA Johnson Space Center planetary geologists described one mound on Mars named Vernal crater that could be a dried up hot springs?

Unprecedented Northeast Bat Die-off Spreading Rapidly

February 24, 2009  Albuquerque, New Mexico -  At the end of Part 18, of my June 29, 1998, interview with Stein at his Florida home, he was talking about the Wackenhut security firm that worked with the CIA in the 1950s. It was also Wackenhut in Coral Gables, Florida, that his phone manager friend told him [ See Stein Earthfiles Part ] was the source of the first call to Stein warning him not to talk with me further about the name of the southeastern military base or its activities during the Cuba stand-off with the Soviet Union or its alleged assassin squad assigned to termination missions. During his work for the Army/CIA unit that studied real UFO Blue Book cases, Stein said, “We could call Wackenhut for background checks on civilians coming to do work. Wackenhut is a worldwide security firm with offices in Europe.”

February 21, 2009  Albuquerque, New Mexico - NASA landed the two Mars rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, near the Martian equator on opposite sides of the red planet in January 2004. The goal was to look for evidence of water. Spirit and Opportunity recently came out of 2008 winter hibernation and started their fifth Martian spring of exploring.

Fluorescence Mystery in Red Rain Cells of Kerala, India

February 14, 2009  Kerala, India   - Three years ago in the April 4, 2006, journal Astrophysics and Space Science was a published paper entitled: “The Red Rain Phenomenon of Kerala and Its Possible Extraterrestrial Origin.” Kerala is on the Malabar Coast in southwestern India. The astrophysical paper was about an event that occurred in July to September 2001 - and several summers since - when raindrops falling on Kerala stained peoples’ clothes. White T-shirts were covered with pinkish-red rain splatters and residents wondered what was happening?

Update and Podcast: Trends Journal Forecasts 2009 Economic Depression

A depression is any economic downturn where real gross domestic product (GDP) declines by more than 10%. A recession is the reduction of a country's gross domestic product (GDP) for at least two quarters. A Bloomberg News survey reported February 12, 2009:   “This is the biggest U.S. economic decline since 1946 as consumer spending posts its longest slide on record.”

February 12, 2009:  Cong. Budget Office Reports Record $1.2 Trillion Federal Debt in 2009, Bringing Total National Debt to $10.6 Trillion.

Total federal indebtedness has nearly doubled in ten years and every individual (305 million people) in the United States would have to contribute $37,000 each to now pay off the national debt.

February 3, 2009  Albuquerque, New Mexico - After my January 8, 2009, Earthfiles report about the apparent star field camouflage on the huge V-shaped aircraft near Cape Canaveral, Florida, in August 1987, and my follow up news update on the January 29, 2009, Coast to Coast AM radio broadcast, I have received more email reports about V-shaped craft and other anomalies in which something moving in the sky appears to be using stars to disguise its location and motion. In this Part 1 Earthfiles are a few for consideration and I will follow up with more such reports in Part 2. I hope other eyewitnesses will contact me at [email protected].
