January 5, 2016  Canton, Kansas - On New Year's Day 2016 north of the white Charolais bull mutilation in Canton, McPherson County, Kansas, 49-year-old rancher John L. Shearer was enraged to find one of his pregnant Gelbvieh heifers dead with its right eyeball removed along with a crescent of hide around part of the eye.
