“I had climbed up on the nuclear weapons igloo looking at this
bluish-red light that was coming straight down. Then the light started
to do a grid pattern! And I was like, ‘This is not happening!’ Just like a grid,
it went to one corner and then started going about every three inches back
and forth doing a grid. And when it got to me, the light actually stopped
because I put my hand into it.”

70 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri. Map by Google.
Updated August 7, 2010 / Original report June 25, 2010 Beverly Hills, Florida - During Japan’s air attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, Second Lt. George A. Whiteman got his P-40 Warhawk into the air, but was hit by enemy fire and became the first American military man to die in World War II aerial combat.
Four years later on August 6, 1945, another pilot, Col. Paul Tibbets, dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, from his B-29 “Enola Gay.” Col. Tibbets was in the 509th Composite Group based at Roswell Army Air Field in Roswell, New Mexico, near the White Sands Proving Ground. The 509th had one mission: drop atomic bombs on Japan and a second was dropped August 9, 1945, on Nagasaki.
The 509th Bombardment Wing officially became part of the U. S. Eighth Air Force in November 1947, evolved through many other air divisions and today is part of the Global Strike Command in the U. S. Eighth Air Force, now based at Whiteman AFB southeast of Kansas City, Missouri. The Whiteman name honors that Pearl Harbor pilot, George Whiteman, the first U. S. pilot to die in World War II.
The modern 509th Bomber Wing operates the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber out of Whiteman AFB.

A recent July 2009 inspection by the U. S. Air Force Audit Agency found that the 509th Bomber Wing was not adequately securing its nuclear weapons storage areas in Whiteman AFB. So, new, more rigorous security measures followed. But the irony is that back in the fall of 1984, at Whiteman AFB, a large, black, silent, aerial disc apparently had total access to the nuclear weapons storage areas – with a thin, beam of light!
One of the U. S. Air Force security men who watched the big UFO emit a reddish-blue beam, no wider than a pencil, down on to the nuclear weapons storage facilities was Airman 1st Class Dale Hogan. Dale was born and raised in Florida 47 years ago. His father was in the U. S. Air Force. On August 10, 1982, at age nineteen, Dale enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. Like most new recruits, he was sent to Lackland AFB, Texas, for basic military security training followed by more extensive training and certificates in rocket launches, M-60 and M-203 artillery and air base ground defense. [ See More Information below.]
By late 1983, Airman Hogan was assigned to Bravo Flight security at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. And about a year after that in the fall of 1984, Dale was working swing and midnight shifts at the Whiteman AFB nuclear weapons storage facility. With Dale Hogan was Senior Airman John Paul George, who Dale calls simply “George.” At Whiteman AFB in 1984, nuclear warheads were stored in two, round-roofed “igloo” bunkers called 4018 and 4020.
Whiteman AFB in 1984 Did Not Have Airplanes
In 1984, Whiteman AFB did not have airplanes. The Marine Corp Harrier Jump Jets that showed up one night during highly strange events came as a surprise to Airmen Hogan and George. Those Marine Harrier Jump Jets had landed the previous afternoon en route from some other base on their own mission. So both men were surprised when those Harriers showed up in the night sky at the same time the big disc was interacting with two of the nuclear bunkers.
Updated August 7, 2010 [ Editor's Note: After the first Earthfiles interview with former USAF Airman Dale Hogan, some readers questioned the veracity of Harrier Jump Jets showing up at Whiteman AFB, a base that did not support a wing command in 1984. There were other criticisms questioning the reference to jeeps and security details. But here is Dale Hogan's comments about those criticisms:
Dale Hogan: “I am confused about why people think Whiteman had aircraft stationed there. No aircraft were stationed there and I said that and you said it in your Earthfiles. It was an open runway for planes in transit to other locations in the U.S. and gave them a pit stop or a layover to fly from the next day. I thought I made that clear. I was also on Whiskey 4, the only police car on the residential side of the base that carried M-16s. This was a security enforcement action if rifles were ever needed on the main part of the base and took their orders from the Law Enforcement (LE) side of the house, but still reported to the Security 1 and Alfa 1 on Bravo flt. The WSA was shaped more or less like a dog bone and was a very large facility.
The jump jets came in on that day (of UFO intrusion at night over nuclear bunkers), what time I really don't know. I saw them flying around in formation during the day, and I stopped to watch them fly. This was around 12:30 pm or 3:30 pm, when I was going to the chow hall. I watched for about 20 min, and went to eat, went back to bed, and went to my assigned duty that night, did roll call with the whole Bravo flt.
I went to work and about 2 hours later everything broke wide open, as I said. But the jump jets were never assigned at Whiteman AFB, not any airplanes were. We got cargo planes in and out. We got planes in transit to other locations, with layover from time to time. But no planes were ever stationed at Whiteman AFB back then. Det 9 had the helicopters at Whiteman. They were to escort any convoy roll and the Army unit.
Law Enforcement did not participate in the events that night and were on a different channel from us. Only Whiskey 4 had to monitor LE and SP channels and had to react to both LE and SP responses, so unless LE turned their channel to our channel that night or were in their facility where a radio was set up to monitor both sides of the base, LE would not have heard what was going on. Whiteman security had a base radio to monitor every radio, even the arts and srts teams out in the field. SP units guarded the silos and reacted to them out in the countryside. But we couldn't hear them at all. Our hand-held radios were not strong enough.
About the criticism that we didn't have any jeeps at Whiteman AFB: In the WSA, a CJ 6-type jeep was used, I believe. There were only two jeeps - one was used for the south end and another for the north end only. If these men were OSI, I was never told they were OSI. I was yelled at along with everyone else. They were all in grey suits with cheap, black sunglasses they never removed for one second. The bunkers were grass-covered igloos with small concrete retaining walls or wings that were only about 4 feet tall that were attached to the end of each igloo and protruded out about 6 feet or so at a 45 degree or so in a slopping down hill graduation.
The weapon storage facility at Whiteman AFB was an off-centered dog bone-shaped area fenced with sensors in the ground to detect people and wildlife alike. I had to be told many times to chase off wildlife and I felt like an idiot doing so. Coyotes had no fear of us. I sent you my certificate showing I was trained at Lackland AFB for Security Police Officer training school, and then those selected go for more training elsewhere, as I did. There were not 3 fences at WAFB WSA when I was there. In place were ground sensors and sensors on the fence with security cameras along the fence.
What this incident is about is the night a UFO flew over and hovered over our heads at the Whiteman AFB nuclear weapons storage area. I practically begged Alfa One and Security 1 to come to my location (nuke bunkers). I will take any lie detector test you give me and know I will pass because I am telling the truth.”
That night was in October 1984. Airmen Hogan and George were having trouble keeping their security vehicle going. The engine kept cutting out. Their radios were also full of static. Bravo Flight’s Shift Commander told them to park their vehicle, so they pulled up in front of nuclear weapons igloo 4018. It was around 2 AM.
Suddenly Airman Dale Hogan felt sluggish, like everything around him was slowing down. He was confused when the hair on his arms rose straight up. He saw that Airman George’s hair on his head was also sticking straight up. Former USAF Airman 1st Class Dale Hogan describes what happened over the next several hours at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, in October 1984.
Interview:
Dale Hogan, honorably discharged from U. S. Air Force on February 21, 1990: “And I said, ‘George, is this jeep magnetized? It was a cool night – I think it was towards the end of summer (early fall, September to October 1984). And George is looking at me and said,‘Well, all your hair is sticking up!’
I kept touching the jeep and getting little sparks off my fingers. I wondered what was causing that on a cool, clear night? There were no clouds.
Anyway, I get out of the jeep and I’m looking around and I see on top of 4018, I see this pencil-thin bluish-red light right center on the igloo. I started yelling for George to come out of the jeep and look at this.

Fifty-foot-diameter black disc
hovering over nuclear weapons storage igloo 4018 and 4020
emitting pencil-wide reddish-blue beam straight down on to 4018 and making a precise grid
pattern with the light on top of the igloo. Illustration © 2010 by Dale Hogan.
DO YOU MEAN SOMETHING THAT LOOKED LIKE A LASER LIGHT COMING OUT OF THE SKY ON TO THE IGLOO?
Straight down! And I told George that. I said, ‘George, there’s a light on the igloo!’ George said, ‘No, it’s nothing.’ I said, ‘George, get out of the damn jeep and come over here and look!’
George gets out of the jeep and looks over. The light is coming from the center of the igloo and it’s going straight up. But it goes up only so high and then it stopped.
I said, ‘George, there is something there!’ I’m asking George, ‘What is the flight restriction?’ Because I was looking up and I could see this black disc. I know it wasn’t an airplane! But protocol being protocol, I tried getting hold of ALPHA 1 and SECURITY 1.
My radio kept breaking up and I was asked to go to a different channel, which I did. Again, the radio kept breaking up and I couldn’t get them to come to my location where George and I were.
George, in the mean time, was telling me to get off the igloo because now I had climbed up on the nuclear weapons igloo looking at this bluish-red light that was coming straight down. Then the light started to do a grid pattern! And I was like, ‘This is not happening!’ Just like a grid, it went to one corner and then started going about every three inches back and forth doing a grid. And when it got to me, the light actually stopped because I put my hand into it.

George was telling me not to do this. I said, ‘George, I have to know!’
Well, when I put my hand into the beam of light, it changed color real quick to like a purple and my hand was like numb! Like pins and needles as if you sat on your hand or fall asleep wrong and you lose the blood flow to your arm? That’s how my whole hand felt. It felt just like pins and needles.

Illustration © 2010 by Dale Hogan
DID THE LIGHT RESUME THE GRID PATTERN AFTER YOU STUCK YOUR HAND INTO IT?
As my hand got out of the way, the light went back to the bluish-red light – it was no longer the purple – and it was no wider than a pencil! – and started to do the grid pattern again.
Back and forth, back and forth. Then it went up and started doing longitude back and forth, back and forth.
THIS WAS ON ONE OF THE IGLOOS?
It did that on three of them. What the light did was it went to one igloo. Then it went to the next one with beam of light and next one with beam of light - and it kept shooting the beam of light down into the igloo. And it moved.!
In the igloo area, there were at least 24 igloos. So this was a pretty big-sized complex, but only two igloos had nuclear warheads. And the third one (the light interacted with) had regular munitions like grenades and dynamite and ammo – regular munitions. That’s all that was in that one igloo and the light did like a partial grid pattern on that one.
But the light did the full grid pattern on the two igloos that we were near – the one I was on top of and the one that was beside me. And those were the two that contained the nuclear warheads.
Whiteman Security apparently could hear me (talking), crackling through the noise. I went ahead and called Whiteman Security. I said, ‘This is Alpha 4 Bravo at Whiteman to Security.’
Security got on the radio and said, ‘Go ahead, Alpha 4 Bravo. What is going on?’
The radio was crackling back and forth and I asked them, ‘With a nuclear weapons facility next to a runway on a military base, what is the flight restriction over a nuclear weapons storage facility?’
Knowing full well it was not a Harrier jet over my head because there was absolutely no noise coming from this thing. And I said, ‘I’ve got to ask a stupid question - is this an exercise going on?’
And they said, ‘Negative, Alpha 4 Bravo. There is no exercise in progress.’
I said, ‘Well, do you have anything on radar then? Can you get hold of the tower and ask them if they see anything on radar?’
They said, ‘What is going on, Alpha 4 Bravo?’
I said, ‘You have a UFO roughly 50 feet in diameter that is 55 to 100 feet over my head and I’m looking straight at it and it’s the black Ace of Spades.’
And it is sniffing the igloo! At which point in time, they told me to stand by. Then all of a sudden, all the base aerial lighting went off.
And when the aerial lighting went off, it made that black disc extremely visible against the black sky night. The perimeter lights dimmed everything, but once you killed those lights, that disc was in full view. That’s when my supervisor, who was Michael James Garcia – he was a Staff Sergeant.
Well, Michael Garcia pulls up with Chewy from the weapons facility and I show him by pointing up to the disc in the sky. And Garcia is going, ‘Oh, my God! oh, my God! I wish I had a camera. This is the real McCoy!’ We’re looking at the disc just hovering there doing its grid pattern across the igloos.
Harrier Jump Jets Take After UFO

Former USAF Airman 1st Class
Dale Hogan stressed that the Harrier Jump Jets
(AV-8B Harrier II) that showed up after the large, unidentified aerial disc was beaming a grid
pattern on the nuclear weapons storage area igloos were not based at Whiteman AFB.
He does not know where the Harriers came from.
[ Editor's Note: Wikipedia - The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) AV-8B Harrier II is a family of second-generation vertical/short takeoff and landing or V/STOL ground-attack aircraft of the late 20th century. It is an Anglo-American development of the Hawker Siddeley Harrier and Sea Harrier. It is primarily used for light attack or multi-role tasks, typically operated from small aircraft carriers and large amphibious assault ships.
The AV-8B is used by the United States Marine Corps. The British Harrier GR7/GR9 versions are used by the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. Versions are also used by NATO countries: Spain and Italy. The Harrier models are commonly referred to as the "Harrier Jump Jet".]
That’s when we started hearing the Harrier Jump jets fire up. So, they are coming to life out there on the tarmac and within ten minutes they come up and they head over towards the igloo and WHEW!!!! The UFO goes! Left those jets standing there like it was nothing!
Then it stopped on a dime and the Harrier jets could not turn and keep up with it. Apparently, the UFO dragged those jets way off in the distance and then the UFO shot right back to where we were. This lasted for 2.5 to 3 hours – this whole event. And the UFO came back to continue doing the grid pattern search on the igloos.
The weapons storage facility is shaped like a dog bone so you had a huge, half square mile bottom end of the dog bone and again at the top and you had a little over a quarter mile distance between the two. That was just a single road, so before you could pass through in order to get to our location at the igloos, you had to go through another security check. So you just don’t go inside a weapons facility and go wherever you want.
Well, one thing we noticed was this car flying around the perimeter road and we saw the two gates to the weapons facility open up!
And I’m like, ‘What are they doing?!’
You don’t open up two gates to a facility with a car doing over 100 mph around the corner. And then we saw a second vehicle following the first vehicle, but not going quite as fast.
So, the first car just blew right through both the security gates – didn’t even stop!
And came straight to my location where George and I were. The driver jumps out of the vehicle, comes over to us. Now, here comes the second vehicle while this officer is talking to us – the second car is coming up and now you see it is pulling a trailer. So the second vehicle comes up through the facility and never stops for nobody. It was given a green light clean through! Again, this is breaching nuclear weapons facility protocol.
Officer with UFO Knowledge
Arrives with Unusual Camera

Dale Hogan described the motion picture camera revealed in the trailer to be
large with "film reels on this thing were probably 8 to 10 inches in diameter.
And the lens was about ten inches around!" Illustration © 2010 by Dale Hogan.
So, here they come. The first guy, an officer, I could not tell if he was a major or Lt. Colonel because of the subdued uniform. I couldn’t tell because all I could see was the cloverleaf.
This officer asked me what the UFO – where was it and what was going on? I told him, ‘It’s right there!’ By that point, it was back over the munitions facility – the igloo where they kept the regular munitions of grenades and all that stuff.
He says, ‘I don’t see it.’
I said, ‘It’s right there! Sir, look down the barrel of my M-16.’ So I pointed at it (with my gun). That is when he could see the thing and his jaw just dropped open.
He said, ‘Holy shit!’
I asked him because I had already locked and loaded my weapon – I even slammed a 203 round into my weapon because that’s what I was carrying that night – an M-203 and the M-16.
Illustration of M-201 being fired.
And I asked, ‘Sir, permission to fire?’ I said, ‘It has been probing these igloos.’
And he said, ‘Son, you will NOT fire on that UFO! They have more firepower than you could ever shake a stick at and it will blow you and me to smithereens! So, you HOLD !’
And I said, ‘Sir, I’ve already put rounds in my weapon because I’m that damn scared!’
And he said, ‘Point your weapon at the ground and remove that ammo.’
Why do I think that is strange is because this officer told me they had more firepower than I would ever know. But I didn’t know anything about what they called UFO officers (in the military), or UFO officers on military installations just for UFO events!
That's what his job was!
AND HE KNEW A LOT MORE ABOUT WHAT EVER IT WAS THAN YOU GUYS DID.
Yes, because when he said that, I knew he knew a lot more than I did.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
I had to put my weapon down and remove the M-16 rounds from the bolt and then pull the M-203 round out of the chamber and put it back into my pouch. And the M-16 round, I put that back in the clip.
The officer told me to stand fast. And he went over to where the second vehicle had pulled in with the trailer. And they popped down the sides (of the trailer) and they mounted this camera onto a tripod. So, they were pulling a trailer that was fully equipped and ready to go for a full tripod-mount camera.
I want to say the film reels on this thing were probably 8 to 10 inches in diameter. And the lens was about ten inches around! So, this was a huge, big, fat lens! I’ll never forget that.
And the officer then pointed to the two crew men - I never saw their faces – up towards where the UFO was and they were now filming it.
Then, here come the jump jets come flying overhead and the UFO took off again. But it’s not over because as soon as the jump jets get clear across on the other side of Whiteman AFB, here it comes on back! Now the UFO is overhead, back over the 4020 igloo again doing another grid pattern on the igloo.
It made a thorough and complete grid pattern on 4018 and 4020.
IS THE LT. COL. OR MAJOR WATCHING ALL OF THIS?
Oh, yeah, he’s watching this. And then he had the audacity to order Staff Sgt. Garcia back to his location and so he and Chewy leave.
He then looks at me and orders George and me to go back to our location. And I said, ‘Sir, this is MY location. This is OUR location. We have nowhere else to go.’
Then he said, ‘I’m ordering you to stop watching the UFO!’
‘Not to watch the UFO no more?’ I said, ‘Sir, what do you want me to do?’ He said, ‘I want you to look at the ground, that’s what I want you to do.’
George and I were like, ‘This can’t be happening!’ So we walked over behind 4018 where the officer could no longer see us and we continued to watch the UFO.
In the meantime, my hand is hurting like hell. I’m looking at George and said, ‘I don’t know what that light did, but it really messed up my hand. I can’t feel it – it’s numb! It feels like pins and needles and has that stinging sensation going on like when your blood flow is trying to come back to your hand after you’ve laid on it for awhile?’
And George says, ‘I tried to tell you not to put your hand in it.’
Anyway, we’re watching the Harrier jets go back and forth until they apparently ran out of fuel and were all forced to go back and land. So, the UFO did its thing and checked out a few more igloos with beams of light shooting down into each igloo and then it was gone. It’s around 4 or 4:30 AM, but I’m not sure of the time because George’s watch did stop. His watch was not working.
WHERE IS THE LT. COL. OR MAJOR?
For about an hour, they were over at the entrance just filming everything – filming the UFO coming and going and doing its grid pattern. I heard the Major yell, ‘Make sure you’ve got plenty of film and make sure that film is good. Make sure you get good shots!’ I remember him yelling that.
And I heard the men reply, ‘Yes, sir! We have plenty of film and we’re getting great shots.’
I guess they had an infrared lens and could see everything.
DID YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE CAMERA THEY BROUGHT IN TO DO THE FILMING WAS OPERATING IN INFRA RED?
I have no idea! All I remember seeing were a bunch of little red lights on the thing and that huge, fat lens on the front. It was not a normal lens, that’s what I remember about it.
DID YOU EVER HEAR RUMORS ABOUT WHERE THE FILM WENT?
Nope, nothing. So, around towards the end of this event, the UFO - that was now over our head by maybe 1,000 feet – turned to a bright, silverfish-white light and that thing shot straight up – I’m going to say at least 20,000 mph!
I mean this thing you could see the size of maybe a 50-cents piece went to nothing within probably 3 seconds. And it just shot straight up and went and where it got up to where it was almost nothing, it shot off in a 90-degree angle just as fast as it was going straight up and then disappeared.
The officer and film crew at that point left. The vehicles were not checked, they were not inspected. The security gates opened up and they were gone. Again, that’s a violation of a nuclear facility protocol.
By then, it was about 6:30 AM because it was getting light outside and this airplane comes in for a landing. But what was strange about this airplane coming in – and that’s what I told George - ‘We’re screwed!’ The airplane landed with no tail numbers. We’re so close to the runway that I can see the pilots during the daytime, but it was light enough then to see that there was no USAF insignia, there were no tail numbers, there was nothing on this airplane that landed.
Once it touched the ground, it turned off its lights. So the airplane taxied along the runway with no running lights on.
By then, it’s about 7:15 AM, when this bus pulls up in front of the weapons storage facility. And now, everybody was on alert inside the WSA area. There were about 28 soldiers carrying weapons, all guarding the weapons storage facility. Plus, you’ve got guys up in the tower, so a total of about 30 soldiers.
And there were four guys who had suits on, grey suits, and the only thing that was black about them were those cheap, black sunglasses. They came over to us and asked, ‘Where are our four?’ One of those guys came over and pointed at George, me, Sgt. Garcia and Chewy. Then he said, ‘You four – front of the line!’
So, we went to the front of the line in formation and then we marched. We were then ordered on to the bus – no talking, we were not to say a word, ‘Mouths shut, eyes front, and get on the bus!’
We travel around and they take us down the runway! We think, ‘This is strange! We’re taking a drive down the runway.’ They told us our weapons would be turned in by somebody else. We go all the way down to an abandoned building used for the B-47s and later B-52 alert facilities.
By then, it was about 8:30 to 9 AM and George was the first to go in. And then they take George away and you could hear them yelling and screaming at George. But it was mumbled hollering so you could not hear word-for-word what was being said. They just yelled at him and yelled at him. And finally about an hour later, George comes out.
At first, I didn’t understand what he was whispering to me, but it was, ‘Heat lightning! Heat lightning!’ Then they were yelling at George to shut his mouth.
Now we had four UFO guys inside that abandoned building. And they had one guy up on a stage. You had one guy standing on each side of the aisles – guys in grey suits wearing cheap black sunglasses.
SO, DALE, WHOEVER THE INTEL GUYS WERE, THEY ARE BRINGING ALL OF THE MAJOR EYEWITNESSES OF THE UFO EVENT INTO THE ABANDONED BUILDING AND DOING A DEBRIEFING, BUT THE DEBRIEFING IS TO ORDER EVERYONE TO KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT, RIGHT?
Oh, yeah! And when it became my turn to go in because I was now next, and they told me to have a chair. One was looking out the window through Venetian blinds. Another guy was in front of me and one guy was sitting to my right in a chair and had one guy behind me.
So, these four guys – one looking out the window through the horizontal blinds; one has a clipboard who is sitting in the chair to my right. The first guy begins to talk and he says, ‘OK, from the top, I want you to tell me what you saw.’ What happened?’
So basically, everything I just told you I told him. And then he goes, ‘Well, what I want you to do is from the top. I want you to tell me again.’ So, again, I told him everything.
And then he said, ‘OK, again from the beginning.’ And that’s when I looked at him and said, ‘Sir, what can I possibly tell you for a third time that I haven’t already told you for the first two times?’
You want me to say ‘heat lightning’?!
And then the guy said, ‘Is that what you saw?’
And then I said, ‘No, sir, I did not see heat lightning.’
And then they all started yelling at me and all four of them pounced – the guy from behind me, the guy from the chair, the guy from the window, the guy in front of me – all started yelling at me. And they got in my face telling me that I didn’t see shit, that I didn’t see nothing.
‘But I did see something!’ And they were just yelling at me and then I realized that’s why they were yelling at George. They wanted us to believe that we didn’t see what we saw.
Then that’s when I looked at them and said, ‘I saw heat lightning, for God’s sake!’ I was in tears.
That’s how bad they scared me. And then one of them said, ‘You saw heat lightning?’
I said, ‘Yes, sir, I saw heat lightning.’
And then the guy went back to the window, the guy with the clipboard sat down and the guy behind me backed away. They were all happy now because I said I saw heat lightning. Then the guy in front of me doing the interrogation handed me a piece of paper and said, ‘I want you to sign here.’
And I said, ‘Can I read what I’m signing?’ And he said, ‘No, you cannot. You will sign it!’
But I read the very top of the page: ‘National Non-Disclosure Secrecy Act.’ And in the middle of that paragraph, I saw that if I disclosed what I saw I would be, or have been, under psychiatric care at the time of the incident. And I looked at them and said, ‘How the hell can I be under psychiatric care at the time of any said incident?
WHEN YOUR MILITARY ASSIGNMENT WAS TO OVERSEE THE SECURITY OF THAT WSA THAT HAD NUCLEAR WEAPONS STORED IN IT.
Right, and if I was seeing a psychiatrist at that time, I would not be allowed to carry a weapon. And they yelled at me and once I signed it, they said, ‘Airman Hogan, bullets are cheap! People die all the time. They commit suicide on a regular basis. If you ever disclose what happened this night, you will not like the future. And family members die all the time – horrible deaths! Houses and trailers burn down. People die in car crashes all the time. So, for your family’s sake, I would not disclose what happened tonight.’
And I was very angry, very scared, and very upset that they actually threatened my family over that whole incident.
YOU WERE WARNED THAT ‘BULLETS ARE CHEAP’ AND YOU WERE THREATENED AND THEY THREATENED YOUR FAMILY. WHY ARE YOU SPEAKING TO ME ON JUNE 9, 2010?
I’m not scared any more. The people need to know the truth. They need to know we are not alone, that the government has been hiding UFOs.
WELL,THERE ARE A LOT OF YOU FROM RAF BENTWATERS TO YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SO MANY OTHER MILITARY EXPERIENCES WHERE MILITARY PEOPLE HAVE REACHED THAT PLACE WHERE THEY ARE ANGRY AND DISGUSTED THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES HAS BASICALLY ORDERED THEM TO LIE AND THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS LYING AND THE MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT IS LYING ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE’RE NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE.
They are angry because they are making everyone look like they are insane – like we’re crazy people. I get angry about that, too. But people need to know the truth.
WHY DO YOU THINK OUR GOVERNMENT STILL HAS A POLICY OF DENIAL ABOUT OTHER INTELLIGENCES INTERACTING WITH THIS PLANET?
They don’t want people to know the truth, I guess. They are afraid of something.”
At least thirty soldiers were involved that night at Whiteman AFB, including the Harrier Jump Jet pilots. Afterward, Dale Hogan was told by one of the security officers that “something really fouled up the nuclear warheads” in the 4018 and 4020 igloos.
After Airman Dale Hogan was honorably discharged from the U. S. Air Force on February 21, 1990, he went to work in construction. He never said a word to anyone about the dramatic events at Whiteman AFB until 2008, when he sent some of his experience to the Disclosure Project and UFOs Northwest. Dale told me he has never done a recorded interview until now and this Earthfiles report.
If any other military personnel stationed at Whiteman AFB in September to October 1984, have firsthand knowledge about the large disc that interacted by light beam with the nuclear weapons storage igloos, please contact me.
