“You could tell it was sort of reptilian-ish, but at the same time you could not point out discernible scales. Throughout its head in different places, it sort of had little bumps. It was very smooth. It was very dead.”
– Thomas C. Sheppard, Chief Yeoman, U. S. Navy (Retired)
March 17, 2006 Albuquerque, New Mexico – Last year I began reporting about the research that former New Mexico State Representative, Andrew Kissner, did in the 1990s about the history of White Sands Proving Ground. Employees at White Sands and the Naval Research Lab housed there, leaked information to Andy about the American government’s missile and artillery attacks on unidentified aerial discs that the Base Commander called “peculiar phenomenon.” See other Earthfiles reports listed below under More Information.Click for report.
“Very reasonable computer models suggest a point of irreversibility for Greenland exists at a warming between 2 and 3 degrees Celsius and we’re already looking at a warming of about 2 degrees C., maybe 3 degrees C. over this century. So, it seems that if this irreversibility point exists, that we’re getting frightfully close to it.”

March 17, 2006 Albuquerque, New Mexico – Over the past 100 years, our planet’s global average temperature has increased one degree Fahrenheit. In 2005, that average surface temperature was 58.3 degrees Fahrenheit – the hottest year on record ever in modern human history. In fact, the last time the Earth was this warm is estimated to be at least ten thousand years ago, or longer. Some scientists think the last time was the Pliocene 3 million years ago.Click for report.
“What does surprise me, or what has baffled me, is that the H5N1 virus has been able to infect so many animal species in a relatively short period of time and really spread so fast around the world.”

W.H.O.’s March 8, 2006, map of human H5N1 cases since 2003. Left to right: Iraq 2 cases, 2 deaths; Turkey 12 cases, 4 deaths; Thailand 22 cases, 14 deaths; Indonesia 27 cases, 20 deaths; China 15 cases, 10 deaths; Cambodia 4 cases, 4 deaths; Vietnam 93 cases, 42 deaths.
March 10, 2006 Rotterdam, The Netherlands – This week, the World Health Organization (WHO) gathered international public health experts at its Geneva, Switzerland, headquarters to discuss a rapid response strategy in the event that a serious worldwide flu pandemic occurs. The current worry is the H5N1 bird flu that has spread so rapidly the past few months from Asia to Africa, the Middle East and into the European Community. The spread is most likely caused by wild, migrating birds which have died in the hundreds of thousands, along with millions of domestic poultry that have been deliberately slaughtered to try to stop the deadly virus’s spread. Yet, one of the mysteries about H5N1 is that no one knows exactly which bird species are most responsible for spreading avian flu. Ironically, the answer could be birds most resistant to the virus – birds that carry H5N1 without dying, and perhaps not even showing signs of illness.
March 8, 2006 Western New Jersey – I have known New Jersey survey engineer, Vincent Creevy, for more than a decade. He is very critical-minded and an excellent observer of details in his environment. So, on March 4, 2006, when I received the following e-mail with an attached photograph, I asked Vince if I could share his correspondence at Earthfiles, and he said yes. There have been so many mysterious lights photographed around the world – sometimes seen by the photographer, but most often not seen until after the images are taken.Click for report.

our ‘invisible-painted’ plane down. The pilot was immediately killed.

I also reported more about former New Mexico State Representative Andrew Kissner’s (Dona Ana County, Las Cruces) investigations of V-2 rocket research at White Sands Proving Ground in 1947 when aerial discs interfered with launches. “There was a time when the U. S. Navy was testing a Talos missile
and there were several unexplained failures. The techs who worked on the
electronics swore they checked each missile several times prior to flight,
but for a period of time, missiles would do 180-degree turns on themselves
(like the Juarez, Mexico UFO incident) and crash.”

“What set this moving light apart from anything that I had ever seen was the fact that as fast as it was streaking across the night sky, suddenly without slowing its speed, it made a 90-degree turn upward and within a flash, it disappeared into infinity.”

“I’m worried. We are just starting the year and already we seem to see a dead whale nearly every day. Something is happening there and it needs to be investigated.”

February 20, 2006 Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez), Mexico – Authorities report that beginning perhaps back in November 2005, eight whales of varying plankton-eating species died of unknown causes. The first two bodies were humpback whales which were found on January 18, 2006, washed up on Mexican beaches along the State of Sinaloa (Culiacan is capital) in the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez). Other dead species have included a baby gray whale, a fin whale and a minke whale. The badly decomposed carcasses so far have not shown signs of disease, toxic spill, algae bloom, or the cuts of fishing nets. “It’s a mystery,” Luis Fueyo, an assistant federal prosecutor for environmental crimes, told The New York Times.Click for report.

Guadalupe County (right yellow) is located in south central Texas east of San Antonio and southeast of New Braunfels, which is its largest city and county seat 29 miles northeast of San Antonio and 45 miles southwest of Austin.
Updated – February 9, 2006 Guadalupe County, Texas – This past week, the San Antonio Lightning news websitereported that the Federal Aviation Administration has not been able to identify two, so-called ‘dark helicopters’ reported near the ground on a Comal County, Texas, ranch. The ranch is actually in Guadalupe County, southeast of New Braunfels and east of San Antonio. On November 23rd, and a month later on December 22nd, Guadalupe County rancher, John Cores, filed a complaint with the FAA, after a black and another dark blue helicopter intruded where his cattle water and graze. Mr. Cores says he could not see ID markings on the helicopter.Click for report.
