Part 2: Large Aerial Triangle Reports from 1800s to Present

September 26, 2014  Albuquerque, New Mexico - One long-time researcher of the mysterious aerial triangles going back as far as the 1800s is David Marler. In 2013, he focused some of his research in a book entitled, Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation.

August 28, 2014  Miami, Florida - On August 19, 2014, five climate scientists warned Florida Governor Rick Scott that a major threat to Florida's future is the steadily rising ocean as carbon dioxide, methane and other greenhouse gases build up in the Earth's atmosphere like a warming blanket. Florida State University Prof. Jeff Chanton told Governor Scott that as the ocean expands with warmer water and polar caps keep melting, southern Florida's barrier islands to Lake Okeechobee are going to go under water. “That's a seriously different world,” Prof. Chanton said. “It's going to be a different planet for our children.”

Part 2: Lunar “Humanoid Shadows” Probably Processing Errors, But Lead to More Mysterious Sites

August 19, 2014  - After contributing moon image analysis in Part 1, retired Navy Captain Mark Wood studied the moonscape and started finding repeating “humanoid silhouette shadows” on average every 22 to 24 miles apart along the top of the NASA band of higher resolution. The implication is that the “humanoid shadows” are some kind of processing error. As examples, a few of them are marked by yellow Google pins below. The shadows are not identical, but some seem to repeat such as Silhouette 21 at 18 02 07.48N  40 48 58.82E and MarkSilhouette14 at  21 34 05.02N  29 46 58.20E

August 15, 2014  - The U. K.'s MailOnline headlined this question on August 13th:  “The ‘man’ ON the moon?” Next were six bullet points related to the article in which the YouTube user name, “Wowforreeel” was misspelled, but images from Wowforreeel's YouTube video were reprinted of an unusual humanoid-shaped shadow in a hilly area at 27°34’26.35″N 19°36’4.75″W.  See Websites below.

July 17, 2014  Charama, State of Chattisgarh, India - Archaeologist J. R. Bhagat from the Chhattisgarh State Department of Archaeology and Culture was described in the July 15, 2014, The Times of India, as reporting that 10,000-year-old rock paintings “depicting aliens and UFOs” have been recently discovered in the small villages of Chandeli and Gotitola near the Charama region about 81 miles (130 km) from Raipur. He said, “The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen, or imagined, beings from other planets, which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn't have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.”

Oceans of Water Locked Up in Mantle Rocks 400 Miles Deep

Earth's mantle is a silicate rocky shell about 1,800 miles thick (2,900 km). 400 miles down from the surface crust is a “transition zone” where the pressure and temperature cause rocks such as ringwoodite and wadsleyite to “sweat” water. For the first time, evidence is showing those rocks might hold as much water as twice the oceans on the surface. Earth's solid iron-nickel inner core is 760 miles in diameter (1,220 km) and its surface temperature is as hot as the sun's surface, 10,800 degrees Fahrenheit (6,000 degrees Celsius). The solid inner core's diameter of 2,159 miles (3,474 km) is about 70% the diameter of Earth's moon. June 26, 2014  Evanston, Illinois -  71% of Earth's surface area is water. Earth ocean depths can be as much as five to six miles — and even 6.8 miles deep in the Pacific's Mariana Trench. How did so much water end up on a planet that began as boiling hot with lava all over its surface? This question has baffled scientists for a long time. Theories have included comets crashing into Earth and leaving their ice to melt. But could comets provide all the water that's filled Earth's oceans and seas? No one knows exactly when the first ocean filled, but estimates are as long ago as 3.8 billion years.
