Today Is the 2020 Autumnal Equinox.

Autumnal equinox, two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length; also, either of the two points in the sky where the ecliptic (the Sun's annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect. Temperatures are quickly dropping on the East Coast now as well and the trees are turning colors.
Autumnal equinox is in the fall when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length. This morning of September 22, 2020, marked the 2020 fall equinox.  Temperatures are quickly dropping on the East Coast now as well and the trees are changing from summer greens to reds and yellows.
