June 23, 2007 Albuquerque, New Mexico - Texas has had repeating cycles of cat and other animal mutilations for at least sixteen years. In Plano, Texas, an affluent suburb north of Dallas, in 1991 and 1993, police received dozens of reports about cats found cut in half, usually with the front half near the owner’s yard or sidewalk. Plano police also had missing reports on more than 80 domestic house cats that wore collars and identification tags, but were never found. Police investigated satanic cult activities, but could not find any evidence that connected them to the mutilated and missing cats and other animals such as dogs.

June 22, 2007 Phoenix, Arizona - The first alleged "drone" photographs were dated May 5, 2007, from an anonymous Lake Tahoe, California source. The next day, on May 6, 2007, more digital images were taken by a man named Chad in the Bakersfield, California, region. The Lake Tahoe images were submitted to UFOcasebook.com and the Chad images were submitted to the Coast to Coast AM webmaster, Lex. He and I talked about the Chad images and Lex put me in touch with Chad.

Perhaps as much as 10 acres of lake water one hundred feet deep are gone from the Magallanes region of southern Chile.Ice chunks were left behind and a new, large ground fissure, which might have resulted from an earthquake between March and May 2007. June 21, 2007 Santiago, Chile - Chile's National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) reports that water in a well known lake covering perhaps as much as ten acres 100-feet-deep in the Magallanes region near Chile's southern tip has vanished.

"I enjoy visiting your Earthfiles website for news on topics one normally doesn't hear much about, and your reports to Coast to Coast which I listen to when I stay up late working on art projects or photographs. I like that you're keeping on top of the disappearing bees situation.
About your recent Earthfiles report, What Is the Moving Light in Saturn's Rings? A Sundog? The bright spots in the four images are not a sundog. It's called the 'opposition effect' and is seen in the rings whenever Cassini is looking in the exact same direction as the sunlight. It's due to sunlight illuminating everything face-on (what astronomers call 'zero phase angle') and therefore, no shadows exist.
I work at the Space Science Institute, doing most of the image processing for the Cassini cameras in one of the groups."
[ Editor's Note: Space Science Institute: "The opposition effect exists because of two contributing factors. One is due to the fact that the shadows of ring particles directly opposite the Sun from Cassini–the region of opposition–fall completely behind the particles as seen from the spacecraft. These shadows are thus not visible to the spacecraft: all ring particle surfaces visible to Cassini are in sunlight and therefore bright. Away from the region of opposition, the ring particle shadows become more visible to Cassini and the scene become less bright. The surge in brightness falls off in a circular fringe around that point.
"Another contributing factor to the opposition surge is an optical phenomenon called “coherent backscatter.” Here, the electromagnetic signal from the rays of scattered sunlight, making their way back to the spacecraft, is enhanced near the region of opposition because, instead of canceling, the electric and magnetic fields comprising the scattered radiation fluctuate in unison.
The July 23, 2006, images were taken in visible light with the Cassini spacecraft wide-angle camera at a distance of approximately 262,000 kilometers (163,000 miles) from Saturn. Image scale in the radial, or outward from Saturn, direction is 13 kilometers (8 miles) per pixel." ]

Ljutomer, Slovenia, is not far from the circular, 320-foot-diameter (100 meters) crop formation reported on June 2, 2007, in Ptuj, Slovenia.
June 18, 2007 Ljutomer, Slovenia - On Wednesday, June 13, 2007, a crop formation of 18 larger circles "strung on" three rings, plus a very small 19th circle on a small fourth ring orbiting one of the larger circles, appeared near Krapje at Ljutomer, Slovenia, about 984 feet (300 meters) from where a crop pattern appeared in 2006. The 2006 formation had six circles on a ring surrounding a large central circle.

June 17, 2007 Big Basin, California - In yesterday's post office mail, I received twelve more images of the latest, more menacing-looking dragonfly-shaped aerial "drone," along with a letter mailed on June 11, 2007, from an eyewitness named Ty. He had also emailed me on June 11, telling me that he was sending photographs he had taken while bicycling with a group of riders near Saratoga, California, in Big Basin. Ty said the cycling group saw the bizarre aerial object three times on June 5, 2007. He said in his email that he was surprised to see at Earthfiles the images allegedly taken by someone named "Stephen" that showed the same object Ty and his friends watched appear and disappear also on June 5, 2007, and that Ty photographed.

Originally leaked to Bob and Ryan Wood for their Majestic-12 documents project at majesticdocuments.com. The document is entitled “Edward Teller’s Pitch to President Reagan for SDI" (Strategic Defense Initiative). The date is July 2, a year or two after Ronald Reagan became president in January 1981.

June 15, 2007 Canoga Park, California - Since the first week of May, seven people in California, one in Birmingham, Alabama, and another from Louisiana – for a total of 9 - have reported seeing a dragonfly-shaped aerial object in the sky that has a ring body, a long tail and variations of appendages extending from the ring.
