September 28, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - In this series of Real X-Files, I am sharing my private 1980 files of high strangeness. But before I continue with those unpublished files, I want to insert a brief history of the American government's own TOP SECRET files related to UFO crash retrievals and the animal mutilation phenomenon.

September 22, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - After my Emmy Award-winning television documentary, A Strange Harvest, was first broadcast on the CBS affiliate in Denver, Colorado, KMGH-TV, on May 25, 1980, I assembled a chronological list of animal mutilation reports as the year unfolded. The following is the 1980 summary I typed up for my private research file and now share for the first time in this Earthfiles Real X-File. Addresses, phone numbers and some names of ranchers and eyewitnesses have been deleted.

August 23, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - The Writers' list of ancient and modern books concerning spiritual warfare with negative forces in the unseen included Campbell Thompson's Volume 2 of The Devils and Evil Spirits of Babylonia: “Fever Sickness and Headache, Etc.” ©1904. Given the reptilian humanoid sculptures in Volume 1, it is noteworthy that in Thompson's list of the 6,000-year-old Sumerian tablets from which his book emerged, there is this description:
“A group of tablets which contain descriptions of a number of supernatural beings, which corresponded roughly to the modern Arabic Jinn and Jann. The identification of the greater number of these is difficult; among those worthy of special note is the goddess NIN-TU, who is said to wear an elaborate tiara and veil and to be girt about the loins with a zone or garment, her breast being uncovered. The upper part of her body is that of a naked woman, and the lower part is said to be scaly like the skin of a snake

August 14, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - To recap the timeline of communication with the Writers, their first floppy disc to me was dated June 21, 1994, contained three pages and is the subject of Part 1 in this Real X-Files series, now updated with an electronic scan of the original June 21, 1994, disc print out, which includes an important book list. When I began this series on June 17, 2009, I scanned the Writers' first letter from my published book Glimpses of Other Realities, Vol. II: High Strangeness © 1998, which had been typeset for clarity. But recently, I compared my original and wrinkled 1994 disc print out with the retyped text in the book and discovered a paragraph was missing, apparently a typeset error. I have now replaced the first incorrect typeset scans used in Part 1 with electronic scans of the original floppy disc print out that includes the missing paragraph about the list of authors and books given by the Writers as context for their NHE discussion.

July 20, 2009 Albuquerque, New Mexico - Continuing with Glimpses, Vol. II pages 326 to 336, that were included in my February 1997 communication to the Writers. By then, I was working hard on my third book, Glimpses of Other Realities, Vol. II: High Strangeness. The Writers had implied that the truths behind at least some of the UFO phenomena were dark forces in spiritual warfare with light forces. I wanted their feedback on a section of my working manuscript in Chapter 4: Body Containers and Souls of Light. I sent a February 28, 1997, letter attached to my draft pages 317 to 346. In the final published edition, those were edited down to pages 320 to 336, of which 326 to 336 are reprinted below.
