February 28, 2012 Albuquerque, New Mexico - The strange, often unexplained, sounds reported and sometimes recorded over the past year since at least March 2011 are worldwide in distribution and include a range of different sounds. Some are described by listeners like trumpets or horns.
Other sounds are compared to an old TV playing loudly with voices, but words can’t be understood. There are also loud buzzing sounds; or low beats like drums; or droning white noise like a freeway, but where there is no freeway. Click on: 022412 Earthfiles.

International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) rescue teams tried to save as many common dolphins as possible that persisted stranding, re-stranding and dying between Barnstable and Wellfleet in Cape Cod between January 12 and February 14, 2012.Light blue area between Wellfleet and Barnstable on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is where 179 common dolphins stranded, re-stranded and died between January 12 and February 14, 2012, unprecedented in Cape history.
February 24, 2012 Silver Spring, Maryland - The common dolphin is the name given to two species, and possibly a third, of dolphins making up the genus Delphinus. Those species are the short-beaked common dolphin, Delphinus delphis; the long-beaked common dolphin, Delphinus capensis. Some studies suggest a third species, the Arabian common dolphin, D. tropicalis, that has an extremely long and thin beak and is found in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean.

February 21, 2012 Los Angeles, California - In the first week of February 2012, an Earthfiles viewer sent me the photograph above of the Mayan Kukulkan pyramid with a pale pink beam coming out of the top and asked me if I knew the background of the photograph that is displayed in some Mayan-related websites. I contacted my friend and colleague Jaime Maussan in Mexico City, who said it was a real photograph taken on July 24, 2009, by Hector Siliezar on vacation with his wife Glenda Hernadez and their two girls, Stephanie and Destiny. Hector and Glenda were both born in El Salvador, but Hector moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1986 to sell cars and later to work in receiving and shipping for warehouses. By 1990, Glenda joined Hector as a resident, became a bank teller, gave birth to their daughters and the couple married in 2006.

In the TOP SECRET/MJ-12 red stamped 9-page document, the first page cropped above shows the document is “From: Director of Central Intelligence (MJ-1) to MJ-2 through MJ-7, with reference to: Project MAJESTIC and JEHOVAH (MJ); Project EVIRO; Project PARASITE; and Project PARHELION.”In the burned first page above, under references to Project MAJESTIC and JEHOVAH (MJ), EVIRO, PARASITE AND PARHELION, the writer, who is Director of Central Intelligence (MJ-1), states: “As you must know LANCER has made some inquiries regarding our activities which we cannot allow.” LANCER was the Secret Service classified code name for President John F. Kennedy, as LYRIC was the classified code name for JFK's wife, Jacqueline Kennedy.
August 6, 2008 Albuquerque, New Mexico - On April 20, 2002, I reported an Earthfiles.com entitled Canadian and American Officials in 1950s Collaborated on Study of Unidentified Aerial Disks. See 042008 Earthfiles in Real X-Files Archive. There were two subjects in that Earthfiles report: a Canadian government investigation of UFOs and an American government UFO-related Project JEHOVAH.
First, was the official UFO phenomenon research by a Canadian engineer named Wilbert Brockhouse Smith, who in the early 1950s was Director of Project Magnet in Canada's Department of Transport. Canadian UFO historian and researcher Grant Cameron discovered a Department of Transport document originally classified TOP SECRET about the subject of “Geo-Magnetics.” Project Magnet was an official investigation of the “flying saucers” and the theory that their mode of propulsion utilized the magnetic fields of the earth and solar system.

February 14, 2012 Stonefield and Bray's Point, Oregon, beach region: Two recent internet “news” stories have been circulated by a Dave Masko claiming 5-foot by 5-foot by nearly 1-foot-high metal boxes that made odd sounds had washed up on southern Oregon beaches such as Stonefield and Bray's Point. The second Masko story referenced William Hanshumaker, Ph.D., who is a Senior Instructor at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. On Friday morning, February 10, 2012, I talked with Prof. Hanshumaker about the Masko article. Prof. Hanshumaker said he did not know anything about the metal boxes until Masko called his office around 5 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Prof. Hanshumaker said he would make no comment until he saw the metal boxes for himself.

Updated February 2 / Originally filed February 1, 2012 Albuquerque, New Mexico - Since posting the previous January 31, 2012 Earthfiles report about mysterious trumpet sounds heard by residents near Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, I have received the following email reports from Germany and Australia. Another sound was described by a Lake Perry, Kansas, resident who compared what she and her husband heard to a “television upstairs left on. ... I stayed outside for a long time listening and it was very haunting and wherever I went around the house, it had the same level of volume and direction was absent.”
