July 6, 2004  Eagle Grove, Iowa –
KCCI-TV, The Iowa Channel 8 in Des Moines, reported last night that “a dozen spots” (patterns of downed plants) were found Saturday morning by Brenda and Mike Trevis in their oat field near Eagle Grove in north central Iowa. Some of the plants were described as “pushed over and broken at the roots in various shapes and sizes.”The Trevises called the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and so far investigators report there was “no evidence of a person or animal going in or out of the field.” Further, there were no weather events before the weekend that could be linked to a cause of downed crop. Channel 8 provided me four frames from video they broadcast on July 5 .Click for report.

Today I talked with Ken Torkelson, writer-editor, and spokesperson for the U. S. Updated – 29,000 American White Pelicans Have Disappeared from North Dakota Wildlife Refuge

Update on June 17, 2004 – Another 2,000 American White Pelicans have disappeared from the Chase Lake Wildlife Refuge, leaving behind hundreds of chick carcasses and eggs on an island. U. S. Fish and Wildlife project leader, Kim Hanson, says there are only about 300 adult pelicans left on the entire island. Pelicans have nested at Chase Lake for more than a hundred years without such baffling disappearances. So far, none of the 29,000 pelicans have showed up anywhere else and no one yet has an answer to the mystery.

Robert Boerman, Founder of PTAH Foundation and Webmaster, DCCA Archive, Brummen, Holland: “Last Friday on June 11, we received an e-mail with a report near Wageningen in eastern Holland, a university town so we suspected a hoax. And the previous day on Thursday, June 10, we received a report about genuine crop circles near Wijchen, about 20 kilometers below Arnhem, not far from Wageningen.Click for report.

Bizarre Horse Mutilation in Northwestern Missouri

June 5, 2004  Northwestern Missouri – In the farming region around Trenton, Missouri, something horrible happened to a pregnant mare on Thursday, May 20th. She had been seen alive the afternoon before and was discovered twenty-four hours later at 3 p.m., dead and mutilated. The unborn foal’s back legs were still in the mare’s abdomen, but its head seemed melted away by some incomprehensible force.

June 3, 2004  Wylatowo, Poland – Robert K. Lesniakiewicz, Vice President of the CBUFOIZA (researchers in Poland who investigate unidentified aerial objects and crop formations), has e-mailed me photographs of a second 2004 crop formation in onions reported May 23, 2004. This one is in the farming community of Wylatowo, fourteen miles south of Zabno (where the first 2004 crop formation in Poland was reported on May 15, 2004). 2004 Overview of Crop Formations in Six Countries

May 22, 2004 – As of this date, crop formations in 2004 have ranged from yellow flowering oil seed rape in England, Germany and Holland to wheat in Poland, tall pasture grass in Australia and randomly downed wheat in Mexico. German researcher, Andreas Mueller, thinks at least three of the four German formations are man-made. He is intrigued by the television video frames below of a Mexican field which do not show neat geometry. Instead, there are patches of downed plants along straight lines, vaguely reminiscent of the “binary code” in the Chilbolton Observatory, Hampshire, England, formation first reported on August 20, 2001. Also of interest is the Vesica Pisces comparison between the May 3, 2004, formation near Pegsdon, Hertsfordshire, England, and the Peebles, Ohio, pattern discovered near the ancient Serpent Mound on August 24, 2003. Under More Information below, is a statistical study by Jeffrey Wilson of 361 crop formation reports in the United States from 1880 to 2003 that reached his database.

May 19, 2004  Dahlgren, Virginia – Yesterday a manager of Mexico’s official meteorological center declared in a Mexico television interview that ball lightning could not explain the eleven objects videotaped in infrared on March 5, 2004, by the Mexican Air Force crew. Alberto Hernandez Unzon, a manger of the National Meteorological Services, is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Mexico National System for Civil Protection and member of the Hurricane Committee of the Worldwide Meteorological Association.

Unidentified Lights in Sunrise Photograph from Long Island, N. Y.

May 17, 2004  Long Island, New York – It was a year ago when a 63-year-old Nassau County, Long Island, New York resident, who only wants to be known as “Marjorie,” read on the internet about a possible “Planet X” headed into our solar system. She had a JVC digital camera she had purchased in the summer of 2001 and decided she would start photographing after sunrise because she thought Planet X might be seen in the direction of the sun. Since January 2003, Marjorie says she has taken “hundreds and hundreds of pictures, but got nothing more than a few lens flares and little red dots. I just started to do it again this year at the beginning of April .”Click for report.
