“‘The craft was like a living organism,’ claimed a document in one of the secret files. ... Miraculously, three weeks after the craft was discovered, the ship completely healed itself. ... If Aliens did the repair work, they would have had to be invisible.”
- Author

November 6, 2007 Albuquerque, New Mexico - When I first read this book back in 1997 before I produced Earthfiles, I thought the description of eerie non-human technologies matched what some people in the human abduction syndrome have described. I talked with Lou Baldin about the content, which he confirmed is based on firsthand factual knowledge, whose source he is still reluctant to reveal. I greatly appreciate Lou Baldin's permission to electronically reprint for the Earthfiles audience In League With A UFO.
Prologue
My curiosity about extraterrestrial life was kindled when my father told me a story that took place when he was young. It was a few years before the advent of the Second World War. He and his brother were walking home from school when they noticed something odd in the sky. He described what he saw as "three large metallic circles." The circles remained in the sky in close formation for a few minutes before dispersing in different directions and then vanishing. There were no clouds in the sky nor any factories in the town to pollute the air with smoke that could be mistaken for the three perfect circles. This took place in a small town in Italy in an era when the fantasies of space travel and the existence of "Aliens" was unheard of. They did not have a telephone or a radio. Television was not yet invented. His family was typical for that community. Few who lived there were aware of the happenings outside of their own town. The only books available to him were schoolbooks. One was about arithmetic and the other book was about reading and writing.

“The orbs might be from a place of intelligent plasmas or intelligent beings that are not physical.”
- Klaus Heinemann, Ph.D., Physicist

November 2 , 2007 Sunnyvale, California - The first time I saw a mysterious glowing light moving in the air was at Woodborough Hill in Wiltshire County, England, back in 1992. It was my first trip to investigate crop formations and one night, half a dozen of us watched a small, spherical orange-white light moving along the trees atop the hill.

- Charlie Kiesel, Amateur Astronomer

October 31, 2007 Fort Branch, Indiana - Today I received the following email from amateur astronomer Charlie Kiesel who lives in Fort Branch, Indiana. He has sent the images of Comet Holmes seeming to erupt in two of 28 images Charlie photographed on Sunday night, October 28, 2007, at 9:59:38 PM CDT and 10:06:51 PM CDT. Charlie has sent the "erupting" images to Spaceweather.com and other NASA comet websites for comment. He told me, "Comet Holmes flared up from a magnitude 17 to magnitude 2 in just 24 hours from October 24 to 25, 2007."

“Apes will very often smell the ground and they will get into that kind of posture (buttocks in the air) with outstretched arms and they’ll put their face right onto the ground like that.”

October 25, 2007 Northwestern Pennsylvania - Big, hairy primate-looking Sasquatch, or Bigfoot, have been reported in North America and other parts of the world for more than a century. Some eyewitnesses have described seeing male and female Sasquatch with smaller animals thought to be Sasquatch juveniles. Even though no one has gotten any clear photographs, movie film or videotapes of young ones, eyewitnesses say large Sasquatch have been known to aggressively protect their territory, and presumably their family. Campers have described having rocks thrown at them and been physically charged by big, growling, long-haired ape creatures, apparently trying to get humans out of their territory.
